The Financial Management and Compliance is responsible for ensuring that the recipient sponsors for all Child Nutrition Programs are monitored and audited to determine compliance with state and federal laws, regulations and guidance. Activities include on-site performance of administrative reviews and limited scope audits, issuance of reports, resolution of the reports, and follow-up reviews to determine if corrective actions have been implemented. Additionally, Financial Management and Compliance provides assessments, technical assistance and training in the area of financial management of Child Nutrition Programs.
