Advanced Placement – The Advanced Placement (AP) Program offers college-level courses and exams that can be taken in high school. There are 38 AP courses in disciplines such as the arts, English, history and social science, math and computer science, the sciences, and world languages and culture. AP is for all students. To be an AP student, it is not necessary to be at the top of the class, but students must be willing to do their best work. College credit or advanced placement may be eared with qualifying AP Exam scores.
