Early in her educational training, Kelly witnessed firsthand the power of excellent teachers, strong schools, caring hearts, and the opportunity it provides for students to be successful in the journey of life. This opportunity is what she wants for every child in the state of Alabama every day!
Kelly, an Oklahoman and alumna of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, with a BA in Education, moved to Alabama as an area sales representative for an international company where she met and fell in love with Jesus and then met and fell in love with her husband Arnold. After raising their children, Kelly reentered the professional arena as the Admissions Director of Briarwood Christian School. Here, she merged her education degree, sales background, and her innate love for forging connections. Currently, she works in the wealth management field as a client service specialist. This role not only taps into her professional expertise but also aligns with her unwavering dedication to serving others.
Immensely grateful for their three grown children, their dear spouses, and a lively brood of twelve grandchildren, the Mooneys find fulfillment in staying active and engaged with their bustling family while also dedicating themselves to serving their community and church, Meadow Brook Baptist. Arnold, a commercial realtor, serves as a member in the Alabama House of Representatives.
